Welcome to the current issue of COMBAT magazine. There has not been a periodical devoted exclusively to the motives and insights of combat for over two generations. COMBAT magazine seeks to fill this niche by perpetuating its namesake and continuing the traditions of its forebears. This venue is an open forum for creative expressions and intelligent analyses on the ramifications of violence and conflict resolution.

Mission Statement

This heterogeneous publication of original literary works seeks to impart the historical reality and to disclose the psychosocial effects of warfare to the general reader. Each quarterly issue contains essay, fiction, and poetry compositions entailing basic battlefront and homefront themes on the ordeal of spiritual sanctification wrought by the crucible of war; which forever altered ordinary lives, informed their extraordinary outlook, and rendered authentic voices on the exigencies of human conflict.

This quarterly publication, entitled COMBAT, the Literary Expression of Battlefield Touchstones™, is serial copyrighted; with all unassigned rights reserved. In voluntary compliance with the morality rights clause of the Berne International Copyright Convention, every composition is wholly the author's uncensored work. The publisher stipulates the non-disclosure confidentiality of submitted intellectual property. All accepted works are subject to alteration only to bring them into conformity with the stylistic guidelines established for the internal consistency of this publication. Acceptance constitutes an agreement by the author to indemnify the publisher against all errors, defects, libel, or negligence which may be evinced in their work.
