The Other Combat Magazine

There is another Combat magazine being published. It is a consumer periodical oriented to martial arts and related fighting techniques. As a public service and courtesy to interested persons, the following contact information is provided for the other Combat magazine:

For those who may have inadvertently mistaken one magazine for the other, it should be understood that publication titles cannot be copyrighted, and trademarks only restrict style ("trade dress") when the products are sufficiently similar to confuse the public. Although we will accept compositions on the history, practice, or philosophy of martial arts, our orientation is much broader, as explained in our guidelines and mission statement. We are further distinguished by being a not for profit literary magazine, on a different cycle of issue serialization. We do not encroach upon the audience of our namesake; neither are we in competition. This clarification and re-direction is offered as a genuine gesture of good will. We regret any confusion, however brief, that any reader may have experienced.
