The significant distinctions are not between
males, females, children, or adults;
whites, blacks, browns, or yellows;
moderates, radicals, leftists, or rightists;
straights, gays, kinks, or asexuals;
insiders, outsiders, groupies, or wannabes;
Christians, Jews, Muslims, or Buddhists;
participants, spectators, protestors, or abstainers;
peasants, plebeians, bourgeoisies, or patricians
... since all such distinctions are superficial and insignificant.
As every mottled green soldier knows,
when the critical moment arrives,
the only important distinction is
whether the guts are yellow,
or red/white/blue all the way through!
